Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled, it syncs through your personal iCloud account. We have no servers and never see your data.
Fiano uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) to parse your expense descriptions in natural language. All processing happens entirely on your device — nothing is sent to external servers.
Fiano requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. AI features require a device that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later).
Absolutely. If your device doesn't support Apple Intelligence, Fiano automatically shows manual input fields. All core features work without AI.
Go to Settings and use the export option to generate a CSV file of all your expenses. You can share it via email, AirDrop, or save it to Files.
You can delete individual entries by swiping or long-pressing in the app. To remove all data, delete the app from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, this will remove data from all synced devices.
Make sure iCloud is enabled in your device Settings and that you're signed in with the same Apple Account on all devices. Fiano uses CloudKit which requires an active internet connection for sync.
